Controversial report indicates Ibans are at the bottom of the food chain.

According to an independent study conducted by an associate professor at UNIMAS, the Ibans in Sarawak, despite being the majority ethnic group, are the most marginalised and backward in almost all sectors, and will continue to be for the next few generations unless remedial steps are taken.

The controversial report was presented at a Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association workshop held at Serian in 2008.

Here is a summary of the report. Click on each pic to enlarge.

Based on these figures, the Ibans are trailing far behind all other ethnic groups in Sarawak.

These facts and figures do not lie. An associate professor of UNIMAS will not lie. When will the Ibans wake up to the facts?

This downward trend can be arrested and changed only if serious steps are taken. Will the BN government under Taib Mahmud, Alfred Jabu and George Chan do anything about it? We know the answer.

Vote BN out. Vote for Pakatan Rakyat (PKR, DAP, SNAP and PAS) and change this trend. Do it for your children and grandchildren and their future. You have a heavy responsibility towards them. The best legacy you can leave to your future descendants is to CHANGE THE BN GOVERNMENT AND REPLACE WITH A PAKATAN RAKYAT GOVERNMENT.
